At the ROP we strive to get the most out of every dollar that we receive.

We have a rigorous accounting system that ensures your money is looked after and accounted for at all stages. Our monthly accounting is overseen by our American executive director and by our treasurer in the USA. Funds spent in Rwanda are accounted for by an independent third-party CPA who works closely with our local staff to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accountability of all transactions.

It is a top priority for us that every penny that is kindly donated to our organization is used in the most efficient way possible and that the organization is completely transparent. With our limited funding we realize the importance of getting the most out of every donation.

The ROP is registered in the United States as a 501(c)3 non-profit charity (EIN 83-0506468). We are happy to issue prompt receipts of your donations for your tax reporting purposes.
