The ROP has purchased our own land!
The Partners of ROP are the generous organizations that have been providing ongoing assistance to the Center by providing needs, facilities and funding to keep our mission going.
Metamorfose AS is an organization based in Oslo, Norway that works to promote clean and healthy cooking in the developing world. Metamorfose helped the ROP construct a new, clean and efficient kitchen which has not only reduced the amount of time and wood used to prepare food, but also is much safer for the ROPs cooking staff. They have also contributed greatly toward the ROP's education program.
Davis and Shirtliff is a Kigali based company that specializes in water and power equipment. Over the years D&S has donated water filters and plumbing to the ROP Center. Last year they made a generous donation of over 80 mattresses to replace the old worn out mattresses that were several years old.
Jackie Chan founded The Dragon's Heart Foundation in 2005 to help children and the elderly in remote areas of China. In February 2011, JC Dragon’s Heart Europe (a European branch of the charity) was setup to support charities in Europe and Africa. In August 2011, JC Dragon's Heart Europe teamed up with the Rwandan Orphans Project.
