To Celebrate the success of the Rwandan Orphans Project, we will be hosting a Swing Dance and Mexican Food Fund Raiser on May 5, 2008. Join us for dinner and dancing to the big band sounds of the Rey Vinole Swing Orchestra.

Among the many improvements at the El Shaddai orphanage are:

  • A water filtration system to supply clean drinking and bathing water
  • Initial medical and dental examinations and established relationships with local doctors to continue necessary treatments
  • Temporary improvements to the abandoned warehouse to allow the area to serve as a classroom, dormitory and kitchen
  • Educational supplies and salaries to pay qualified teachers
  • Funds to purchase food staples such as cornmeal, beans and water

There will be plenty of dance space to move with the swingin’ sounds of the Rey Vinole band.  You’ll also have the opportunity to visit with members of the previous mission teams plus view video and photographs of the children and orphanage.  I hope you will take this opportunity to see for yourself the promising work your generosity has created.
